Christmas...finally

Kyndall not really getting it but thinks it's pretty cool to have new stuff to hold :). She got the standard 1st Christmas gift from the aunts and uncles, a suitcase personalized with her name. I love having this for each of the girls!

Santa came! He was so organized and labeled everything so nicely so Lynlee could find her name and her presents!

Lynlee slept with Mallory this whole time we were in Houston. She loved it and felt so big. Daddy is laying with her as I am getting the camera ready.

After Santa presents we went to see my family and somehow my mom has all those pictures! I have got to get them from her. More to come later, hopefully before the end of January!

Part 2: Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Wednesday, December 24th

We open presents with Jason's family on Christmas Eve.

Lynlee with her Frosty book from Meemaw and her Tinkerbell poncho from Aunt Vickie and Uncle Larry. Every princess with Lynlee right now is Tinkerbell so it was perfect that she was on her poncho!

Lynlee loved opening presents this year. Opening her newborn cabbage patch doll.

Several Little People toys. The doll house and Noah's ark were 2 of them. One of her newest things is to lay down on her belly and kick her legs while she is doing something. That is what she is doing on the left. The dollhouse has a doorbell that works and when you lift the toilet seat it flushes, of course that is her favorite part!

Continuing with December 24th

After Christmas Eve festivities we went to my parents to stay the night. While we were there we got Santa's cookies, milk and the reindeer's carrots all ready to go.

I thought Lynlee was going to want to eat the cookies but we kept telling her they were for Santa and she was ok with that!

Thursday, December 25th

When I was growing up Santa wrapped all his presents with special Santa wrapping paper. So that's what we've done so far. Who knows if this will continue or not, we will see.

Lynlee's newest thing is Curious George. She LOVES him and lovingly calls him "Monkey George". So she got a several Curious George things. I wish my arm was out of the way because she was way excited about these Curious George jammies!

Continuing with December 25th

On Christmas Day in the afternoon we usually spend that with my extended family. This year they all came to my parent's house.

Lynlee got several outfits and she wanted to put them ALL on. So this is my Uncle John helping her do that!

Our Christmas Week Part 1

Thursday, December 18th

Before we left for Houston to have our Christmas festivities, Lynlee had her class party. She had fun making snacks and crafts.








Sunday, December 21st

We left on Sunday for Houston but before we left we couldn't miss the cute photo opp. with Miss Rylee. We wore our matching Gymboree dresses.

Monday, December 22nd
We spent the day with Jason's family.

Monday night we went to a candlelight service at Fellowship of the Woodlands. This was quite a production and we went to the first of 17 services! Lynlee saw Santa again. I don't have that picture to show but she did better than the first time! Then we saw a dressed up snowman and this was her reaction to that. Not happy!


Tuesday, December 23rd
We went to my sister-in-law's families house for a Christmas party/gift exchange/Jason's birthday celebration. Lynlee had first first of many presents to open. We found out very soon that she was into opening presents this year!

Opening presents. If you will notice the present on the left somehow got double wrapped. This actually turned out to be extra fun for Lynlee because she got to rip up the paper twice! Miss Morgan was sweet enough to help Lynlee open them up.

I just had to throw this one in there. While running errands on this day Lynlee was obsessed with Mallory's MP3 player. It was too funny, she was so serious listening to it.

Decorating the Tree

Decorating the Christmas tree was so fun this year with Lynlee. On Friday night after Thanksgiving (the day we got home from Hawaii), Jason pulled everything out so we could put it up. Lylee LOVED helping!
