Kyndall and the Stool...

There was once a little girl who desperately wanted to get into the room where her daddy was! But she just couldn't reach. What could she do?

A stool! That could get her to the door knob!

So she pushed with all her might to get that stool where she needed it.

Very proud of her accomplishment of getting it to the door.

Unfortunately when she got up on it she still couldn't get the door open! Poor girl!

Mother's Day

I had a very nice Mother's Day. My mom was in town for it so that was a nice treat. Jason had the girls make me an apron. It is so cute, complete with hand prints, "Happy Mother's Day" written in pencil and painted by Lynlee and scribbles of all kinds. It will be cherished!

Jason went above and beyond and got me tickets to one of our favorite singer/songwriters, David Wilcox. The concert is June 4th and that is the day after the last day of school! What a way to end the year. I am so excited!!

Easter

I have been so preoccupied with birthday parties I haven't been able to post about Easter!
The night of Kyndall's birthday party we dyed Easter eggs.

The next morning the Easter bunny paid us a visit.

On the way to church, Kyndall got to sit facing forward for the first time! She loved it (and so did we) !!

We had an Easter egg hunt after church. Kyndall did not even try to pick up one egg! Oh well, she had fun walking around with all the other kids.

Our very lame attempt at a family picture. Lynlee was ready for a nap! Before church they took some adorable pictures of the girls with real bunnies. Hopefully I will be able to post those soon!

Kyndall is 1!

On Saturday my sweet Kyndall turned 1 year old!
We did a Very Hungry Caterpillar party at our house.

The smash cake! I randomly met a lady while I was mailing my taxes who just happens to do custom cakes, can we say right place at the right time?! I gave her a napkin and this is what I got! LOVE IT!

As I did for Lynlee's party, we served cookies instead of cake. Again, they turned out beautifully and tasted awesome. They were a big hit!
