Magic School Bus

I love Fridays at school. Here are some reasons why:

1. Jason brings Lynlee up to school and brings us a fun lunch. (Mostly Chick-fil-A)

2. We get to wear jeans!!!!!!!! Last year the school sold jeans passes to wear jeans on an extra day of the week ($ to go toward United Way). We were allowed to buy for 10 weeks at $2 a week. It was the best $20, I've ever spent.

3. Fun Friday! We spend the last 45 mintues or so of the day enjoying a snack together and watching a fun video or go outside or something fun like that. Right now we are watching Toy Story 2. (It usually takes us several weeks to finish one movie.) A nice treat for a week of hard work.

4. We usually watch a science video on Fridays to reinforce the lessons taught during the week. A lot of times we watch the Magic School Bus. They are the greatest videos that really teach these science lessons better than I ever could. Anyway, there is a cute little intro song at the beginning and my students definitely have it memorized. I always make sure I don't fast forward through the intro song because I love hearing them sing it. They are so cute!

And finally, last Saturday we got Lynlee's fall/6 months pictures taken. Here are a few of them:

6 months old

Lynlee turned 6 months old today. I can hardly believe it. It just seems like we have always had her. I can't imagine not having her around.

6 of my favorite things she does:
1. Smiles- Lynlee is such a happy baby and she is smiling all the time.

2. Plays- She has really learned how to play with her toys or should I say, eat her toys. Either way, I love that she grabs for her toys and plays with them.

3. Moves- She is rolling like crazy, reaching to get her toys. I also love that we she hears my or Jason's voice she looks at us. This morning when I was leaving for school she was just following me around the room. I love that she knows who I am!

4. Eats- Lynlee just starting sitting in her high chair to eat. She eats her cereal on a spoon like a big girl and we will be starting fruits and veggies soon!

5. Sleeps- She's still not quite sleeping through the night but she is so precious when she sleeps, I just love to go in there and watch her.

6. Talks- I love the sweet sounds that she makes and she will just talk and talk like she is part of the conversation!

She has just grow so much in these short 6 months, I just can't imagine what will happen in the next 6!
