Mother's Day

I had a very nice Mother's Day. My mom was in town for it so that was a nice treat. Jason had the girls make me an apron. It is so cute, complete with hand prints, "Happy Mother's Day" written in pencil and painted by Lynlee and scribbles of all kinds. It will be cherished!
Jason went above and beyond and got me tickets to one of our favorite singer/songwriters, David Wilcox. The concert is June 4th and that is the day after the last day of school! What a way to end the year. I am so excited!!

Easter

I have been so preoccupied with birthday parties I haven't been able to post about Easter!
The night of Kyndall's birthday party we dyed Easter eggs.

Lynlee loved dying the eggs!

Putting stickers on them.

Kyndall watching from the sidelines.

The next morning the Easter bunny paid us a visit.

On the way to church, Kyndall got to sit facing forward for the first time! She loved it (and so did we) !!

We had an Easter egg hunt after church. Kyndall did not even try to pick up one egg! Oh well, she had fun walking around with all the other kids.

Lynlee and Rylee playing.

Our very lame attempt at a family picture. Lynlee was ready for a nap! Before church they took some adorable pictures of the girls with real bunnies. Hopefully I will be able to post those soon!

Lynlee is 3!!

My sweet Lynlee turned 3 today! We had her party last weekend at Texas Dreams Gymnastics. She had a ball!
The theme was "letters" as Lynlee loves her letters these days! She is constantly asking me, "Mommy how do you spell_________?" I ordered the girls matching shirts with their initial on them.

Playing with the parachute!

Kyndall taking a turn!

Playing on the equipment.

Playing in the foam pit!

I am very much into birthday cookies instead of cake. We did that last year and it went over so well, I decided to do that again! We did an assortment of letters. Each child that came got their own initial plus an L for Lynlee. You can't really tell from this picture but on top of the stack it spells out "Happy Birthday Lynlee"!

Blowing out the candles.

She was so excited about every card and every gift!

Her gift from Mommy and Daddy! She loves sleeping on it!

The girls part 2

Looks like I am getting a little video happy :).

Kyndall has started dancing. The music comes on and her body takes over.
It cracks us up!!

The other day Lynlee and I played "school". She was Ms. Lynlee and I had to sit down like all the students. We literally went through the entire day. Arrival, circle time, snack, music, lunch, nap, dismissal. During circle time she did everything Ms. Sandra does, including this:

I didn't even know she knew this!! It cracks me up to hear her say all those big words!

My girls

The Little One

Kyndall has learned a new trick...

She gets this giant smile everytime she claps! It is adorable!

The Big One

For Christmas I got both Glee soundtracks. (Love them! It's all I listen to in the car, that or Elmo!) Well the first time I put the cd in and "Don't Stop Believin" played Lynlee turned to me when it was over and said, "Mommy, I like that song!". So ever since then we have bonded through Glee (scary!). So the other day, "Proud Mary" is playing and this particular day I got really into the song and started doing hand motions with it and everything. Lynlee got way into it and now requests it when we get in the car.

As soon as the song starts, she will start "rolling" her hands and tonight she even told us, "I'm getting my wheels ready!"

Is this cute or scary? I'm going to go with cute :)!

Baby Girls

We have a family at church that has 3 girls. She had all three of her girls photographed in the same outfit at the same age and then she has the outfit and all the pictures of the girls hung together in her house. Shortly after we moved here we had supper at their house and when I saw that, I thought, if I have another girl I am doing that! So that is exactly what I did. Luckily I still had the outfit that Lynlee first pictures were taken in so I thought that one would be perfect.
The outfit is kind of random. One of our sweet friends, Tiffany, gave it to us at one of Lynlee's showers and when it was time to take Lynlee's first pictures I picked it out of all our new outfits because it was very sweet and just delicate being all white with just some small flowers on the front. I am just glad I saved it!
This is how it turned out:
I took it from down low so I would get the reflection in the frame. I love how the girls are pretty much in the same pose but just facing different directions. Lynlee is on the left and Kyndall is on the right. Lynlee just slightly more yellow than Kyndall :).

Close up of the left side and sweet Lynlee.
Close up of the right side and sweet Kyndall.

Christmas...finally

December 23, 2009

We celebrated Daddy's birthday.

Lynlee loving her some birthday cake and Daddy examining his presents.

Daddy cuddling with his girls.

December 24, 2009
Opened presents on Jason's side.

Kyndall not really getting it but thinks it's pretty cool to have new stuff to hold :). She got the standard 1st Christmas gift from the aunts and uncles, a suitcase personalized with her name. I love having this for each of the girls!

Lynlee opening her very special glass tea set and all her new kitchen utensils and food in a nice organized 3 drawer set!!

Getting ready for Santa.

December 25, 2009

Santa came! He was so organized and labeled everything so nicely so Lynlee could find her name and her presents!

Lynlee slept with Mallory this whole time we were in Houston. She loved it and felt so big. Daddy is laying with her as I am getting the camera ready.

Examing all the presents!

Kyndall loving the paper more than anything else!

Lynlee opening her instruments from Santa.

After Santa presents we went to see my family and somehow my mom has all those pictures! I have got to get them from her. More to come later, hopefully before the end of January!
