The times they are a changin...

Well it's time for another change in the Graves Family. Around July Jason put his name into a job search with Riverside Church of Christ, in Coppell, Texas. Not much happened for a few months and then in October we started having interviews, over the phone and face to face. We found out a couple of weeks ago that we offically got the job.

So we told the elders at church, I told my principal. We told the whole church this past Sunday. Overall it was accepted well. Everyone understood that this was a better opportunity for us. Jason will be carrying our insurance now so I will not have to worry about doing that AND I will hopefully only have to work PART TIME! That is the kicker! Everyone at church who heard that said that we had to take it.

So we left last Thursday to head up to Dallas to go house hunting. After looking Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning, we found a house that we fell in love with. We put an offer on it Saturday morning. Then we left to go home. On our way home we got a call with a counter offer and we took it. If all goes well we will close on the house on January 28th and move in on January 30th and will be proud owners of a house in Lewisville, Texas. If we stay in our house until Lynlee is in high school (who knows about that!?) Lynlee will be a proud Lewisville Fighting Farmer!

Here are some pics of the house:

The front:

This is the front living room. That is the front door on the left.

Just past that front living room you walk into the kitchen.

On the other side of the kitchen bar you look into this 2nd living area. I am planning to make this into a play room!

We don't have pictures of the bedrooms. But there are 4 rooms and when you first walk in you walk just past the front living room and turn right and there is a hallway that dead ends into another hallway and there are 4 bedrooms all in a row.

So we have approximately 26 days to get everything together to move. It's going to be a crazy month. Well it pretty much already has been. Please pray for our sanity! Of course we will be informing you of our new address and phone numbers when those are all in place.

I'm so glad I found your blog! It will be great to be able to keep up with ya'll and see Lynlee grow. I'm really excited for ya'll with this new opportunity...our loss is Riverside's gain...I hope they appreciate that!

The biggest bonus in all of this is that you'll get to spend more time with Lynlee. Jack will of course miss his favorite girl, but I'm sure we can keep the romance going if we work at it!

Seriously, I am so happy for ya'll. It really makes me sad that you'll be gone before long. You both have been a tremendous asset to Lakewood...brought some "younger" life to us, and I personally appreciate all your efforts.

I pray for God's greatest blessings for you. You both have a great deal to offer to your new church family.

Love and miss you already,
Jane H.

P.S. LOVE the house...yeah!
