We're Pregnant!
We are! It's crazy to even think about. It's like it hasn't hit us yet. We have known since last Sunday. We were trying to wait to tell till Spruce's parents could be in Houston but that was going to be 3 long weeks and we just couldn't do it! We waited a week and that was killer.
On Sunday we went and had supper with my parents and sister. I gave them each a frame that said, "Reserved for Baby Graves due April 21st-ish". It took them a second and then my mom started crying. I was not expecting that at all.
From there we went to Spruce's sister's house. We got his parents on speaker phone and then we had my niece Mallory ask me if I had a baby in my tummy. This is a question she asks me frequently since my sister in law had a baby. Since Aunt Ria was pregnant surely I was too. So she told Spruce, "No, she doesn't." Knowing that is what I said everytime before. But finally she asked me and she got a different answer this time. Her next response was, "Where is it?"
Yesterday we went to our first doctor's appointment and got our first baby picture. Our little jelly bean! So we are due, April 20th and are so excited!!!!

Awwww, congratulations! I hope I haven't scared you with some of my complaints of pregnancy. It really is such an exciting time. I'm so happy for you two. Yay ... another friend to be pregnant with!

Yay! Congratulations! So exciting! I love the story of how you told everyone... cute idea with the frames! And of course kids don't cooperate when you have a plan! Priceless, though!

Oh, the irony! After Spruce's last post on his blog, I think you deserve it--Jonathan and I couldn't be more excited for you guys! We just found out we're having a girl. Any chance of y'all taking a trip to Austin this semester? We'd love to see you if you get a weekend off, or even if you could just get away for a Friday night. You guys always have a place to stay with us. We're really excited!
