Ladybug Crazy

Ok, so I kind of went a little crazy with the ladybug theme this year. I painted the wall and pretty much every inch of my classroom is black and red. So I got this idea that on the first day of school I needed to wear a ladybug skirt. I thought I could find some cute ladybug material and my talented, sewing, sister-in-laws could "help" me make it (or just make it for me). Well when we went to find the material there was nothing very cute. At least nothing that I would want to wear. But what my sister-in-law came up with turned out to be MUCH cuter than I ever envisioned it being! With the help of Spruce's cousin who actually made the skirt (very quickly) and then Andrea who made and hand stitched the hem and the ladybug I was able to wear this to school and match my classroom. The kids loved it!

They say that they're probably pregnant, of course. It's just one of those wierd things (that I made up).
