Travel Time!

There is a point when it's probably time to just take off the bow!

I took this this morning on our way to Houston. We met my mom and dad half way so we could exchange Lynlee. She is staying with them for a couple of days and then with my in-laws for a couple of days while we are in ... Hawaii!!

Jason is doing a wedding of some close friends next week in Hawaii so we are off in the morning! We are so excited, we have never been. I can't wait! So until next time, Aloha!

Houston

We did lots of fun stuff while we were in Houston.

Besides the 2 weddings we:

Ate spaghetti.

Swam.

Feed our self with a spoon.

Played with our cousin Miles.

(Lynlee loved Miles so much. She could not get close enough to him and kept trying to back into him and sit in his lap!)

Wanted to be a baby again in Miles bouncy chair. But once we started to get sleepy while sitting in it, it wasn't so fun anymore!

Emptied out and filled Grammie's tissue box for her. (Over and over again.)

Went to P.F. Changs with Aunt Katie and soon-to-be Uncle Johnny.

Rode on Mommy's old rocking giraffe. My sister and I loved this thing when we were kids!

Spent time with Great-Grandma Weese.

While we were at my grandma's house we turned on the radio and Lynlee loved it. She listens to the radio in the car but I guessed we've never really played it at home. Anyway, she got up and started dancing. She was fascinated with the radio and would go sit by it and change the station. It was cracking us up. I didn't catch it on video but at one point she started spinning around. So cute!

Houston Trip and Campbell

Last weekend we went and had supper with our good friends Shanta, Ken and precious Campbell. Lynlee loved Campbell and wanted to smother her with love. It was too cute!
Then this past weekend, Lynlee and I drove to Houston to go to my brother and future sister-in-law's wedding shower. While we were in town my mom and I went to Market Street in The Woodlands. It's a really cool outdoor mall. We walked around and shopped.

On our way out we stopped by their fountain. It's the kind where the water shots out of the ground. We stripped Lynlee down to her diaper and put her by the water. She liked it until she got sprayed with water and then it wasn't very fun anymore. She would watch this little boy that's in the picture with her and he was having so much fun and she would laugh at him and want to get down and just when I would put her down she would get sprayed again and be scared.

She wanted to like it so bad but it just didn't happen. I think if we went a few more times it would grow on her!
