Our Little Sponge
(Harder to go back to teaching full time than I anticipated, hence the lack of blogging!)
Lynlee is just at that age where she is just soaking up every little things she sees and hears. And then will repeat it days later. We either can't believe that she remembered it or have no clue where she heard it.
Yesterday I added some child safe door knobs (she's learned to open doors now, yea for us!) and she saw one of them and put her hand up to it and said, "Look at this masterpiece!". What?! Where did you hear that word and how do you know how to use it?
Then shortly after that she was playing in our closet while I was putting away clothes and she shuts herself in there and tells me to knock. So I knocked on the door and she opens it and says, "Well hello there, come on in!". So welcoming, thank you for asking me to come into the closet!
(posing inside the closet)
I don't know how many of you out there have seen this video of "Elmo's Song". Well Lynlee loves to sing this. And she loves to change the words to be "Lynlee's song" or whoever's name comes to mind at the moment.
We were at church a little early a couple of weeks ago so I took the girls to the nursery early so I could feed Kyndall and Lynlee could play. She found this little piano that looks very similar to Elmo's piano and she immediately said, "Oh Elmo's piano". So here she is singing at the top of her lungs, "Kyndall's Song".

classic! i am so glad you caught the pianist and singer on film. we were dying laughing at our house over her elmo impersonation. she's really good!
Sad I missed it! That is funny because this summer in Bible class Rylee and Aaron LOVED that piano and always seemed to want to play it at the same time. :) ~ Renae
that video is cute. Owen LOVES Elmo and Elmo's song. He sings "la la la la" all the time. :)
