4th Annual Lake Travis Trip

Well we just got back from our 4th Annual Lake Travis trip. The trip started out with Jason and the guys he grew up with and the wives getting together and has turned into a family trip and will continue to grow. This year we had 4 kiddos on the trip!


On the way to the lake this year I decided I really wanted to try Flip Happy Crepes for lunch. I had originally heard about this place when it was featured on Bobby Flay's Throwdown. And then I heard about it again when Annalee mentioned it on her blog. So we went for lunch when we got into Austin.

I would say it definitely lived up to it's hype. It was very good. We also decided to splurge and get a dessert crepe as well.

So yummy!!


From there we headed out to the lake. This year in addition to doing some fun boat stuff our friend Matt brought out his stand up paddle boards. It is a fun sport that anyone can do. He even has his own business teaching lessons. So if you are ever in Austin and you want a FUN, new outdoor thing to do, go to Hill Country Surf for some lessons. It will be worth it, I promise!!

Sisters! I pretty much made Lynlee wear a life jacket anytime we were on the dock. I was slightly paranoid of her falling in the water. But she didn't mind at all, she loved wearing it!
