I need to powder my nose...

I love using Mary Kay. I have used it for awhile now. And up until just a little while ago all their makeup fit nicely in these silver compacts.

It was slightly difficult to get the makeup out of it when it was time to refill. But I figured out a way, using tweezers, and it worked.


Well when we moved to Dallas I needed to find a local Mary Kay rep to get my makeup for me. And I did and when I went to order more I found out they had switched to these new compacts.

They are really nice and pretty and they are magnetic so it makes the makeup really easy to take in and out. I really didn't want to buy new compacts but I had to because the new makeup that fits these compacts doesn't fit in the old ones. So I went ahead and bought them.


So what to do with the old compacts. I just stuck them in a drawer and kept thinking that I needed to get rid of them.



Well I am glad I didn't...

The perfect use for old compacts!
