Bad Water Babies!
Lynlee had her very first program a couple of weeks ago. The theme was "God's Mighty Jungle". Lynlee's class sang "Eensy Weensy Spider". They wore spider "hats". Her teachers cracked me up and made a big deal about "what was Lynlee going to do with a hat and no bow"! I assured them that Lynlee could go a couple of hours with no bow. But they insisted it just wouldn't be her so they made little bows for all the girls and clipped it on the end of the spider leg. So cute! They also just left her normal bow on under her "hat".
I don't know if you can see the tiny bow but it's on the front left leg.
Lynlee completely overwhelmed!
This is what Kyndall thought about the whole thing!
I don't know if you can really tell in the pictures. But Lynlee's face was completely red and swollen at her program. The day before I put Waterbabies sunscreen on her before school to protect her sweet skin at recess. When I picked her up she looked pretty red like she had a sunburn. Well the next morning she was really swollen also. I thought it was just from the sunburn. So I put more sunscreen on and took her to school with some tylenol. Well I picked her up and they said she acted fine all day but her eye kept running. She looked worse to me so I took her straight to the doctor. Turns out she had an allergic reaction to Waterbabies sunscreen and he told me to give her Benadryl. (I love paying a doctor to tell me what I was going to do anyway!) She was acting fine so we still took her to the program and she had a great time. The crazy thing is we used Waterbabies all summer last year and nothing. So it's time to shop around for new sunscreen!

That is crazy. I hope she feels better. Sweet babies, girl!
I didnt know about the bow on the spider... I noticed them and the program. That is SO lynlee inspired! Adorable!
Caleb had the same reaction to a "bull frog" brand of combined sunscreen and bug deterrent when he was L's age.
Glad she is better!
