"...root, root, root for the Astros..."

One of the sad things about living in Dallas is that we can't get to Minute Maid Park in 20 minutes and see the Astros play anytime we want! They only come to Dallas once a year and that was this past weekend. So my sister-in-law and brother-in-law came into town (with Gran and Pops as babysitters) and we went to all three games. We were expecting and fun filled weeked with Astros on the winning side of the scoreboard. Well 1/2 of that happened!

GAME 1
FRIDAY, MAY 16, 2008
7:05 pm

Lynlee joined us for this game. This was our sunday school class' May social. We all had a really good time visiting with friends and playing with Lynlee at her first Ranger's game. (I've lost count on how many Astros games she's been to!)

Final score: 16-8 Rangers
We left feeling really sad that we lost BIG time!

GAME 2
SATURDAY, May 17, 2008
6:17 pm

Lynlee stayed home with Gran, Pops and cousin Mallory for this game. We got a fun group together to go to this game!

Final score: 6-2
Yet another sad turn-out for the 'stros.

GAME 3
SUNDAY, MAY 18, 2008
2:05 pm

The family went home and La La volunteered to babysit Lynlee so Jason and I went to this game by ourselves. We had a really good time and got to sit in some AWESOME season ticket seats given to us from a sweet family at church.

Final score: 5-4 ASTROS!
We finally pulled one out!

So that is all the Astros games we will get to go to in Dallas for this season. If we want to see them play again this season we will have to go to H-town! (Which is definitely going to happen!)

Go Stros! Glad yall got to see the entire series. I think it is soo much fun to watch your favorite team when they are out of town. It just makes you more determined for and proud of them :)

Just remind all your Rangers-fan friends of all the winning seasons the Astros have had and at least they aren't stRangers to the World Series! :-)

Adrian and I watched the end of Friday's game from Little Rock at my cousins. I was VERY SAD to see the stupid homerun derby the Rangers were displaying. :(

We kept looking for all of you in the crowd shots. Kelly
