"Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."
Lauren and I have been best friends since the age of 13. We spent all of our time together in jr. high and high school. Lived together all 4 years at ACU. Got to spend a short time together as married couples living in Abilene. Then she moved to California. As we were packing her and Jarrod up it was all I could do not to cry. My best friend was moving across the US. BUT I knew there would be a day that they would try to move back to Texas and it happened. Little did we know that just 1 1/2 short years later we would be joining them at the same congregation to join them in their ministry.
(Taken 4 days before Lynlee was born.)
We always hoped our husbands would get a chance to work together but never thought it actually would happen. When the opportunity presented itself we went for it. We were also thrilled that Lauren was pregnant and our kids would get to be friends also!

How neat, Jacquie, that your children will also be friends!
Hey there! What a sweet post! It'll be neat for yall to see each other regularly again. Isn't God soo good! On a random side note, I was just cleaning out some cabinets and ran across some pics of our spring break campaign to Long Beach. What a trip down memory lane :)
What a special friendship...love those kind of friends.
wow, this post was so cool to read just thinking about the very amazing things that God can do! Kelly
