Last Day of School!

Well today is the was the last day of school. It's kind of bitter sweet this year. I am so happy that another year is over. It's hard to believe that I have completed 3 years of teaching. And I am so happy to have the summer off to be rejuvenated for next year.


But I am sad because 2 of the girls that I taught with this year are moving districts. I have really loved teaching with them this year and I am going to miss them dearly.


On top of all this, because these girls are leaving, I decided to move into one of their rooms. It's bigger, more space, a lot of things that I didn't have this year in my tiny room. But that also means a lot of extra work. Taking everything down and redoing another room. (The pictures are of my current room, it's looks so sad with bare walls!) But I can't complain, I chose it. And Spruce will be doing most of the moving :). Although I did almost break my arms today moving better desks into my new classroom. I am exhausted and definitely in need of a rest. Needless to say I am looking forward to my summer vacation!
